The Lithuanian version is the primary one.
Effective date: 8 November 2026
1. Who handles your data
The controller of your personal data is:
- Markas Kuprys, carrying out individual activity under an individual activity certificate;
- trading name: SIMFAN;
- email: [email protected];
- phone: +370 633 06363.
Below: “we” or “SIMFAN”.
We process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other applicable laws.
2. What we collect and why
2.1. Requests and correspondence
When you send a request through the website form, email us, call us, or message us on WhatsApp or social media, we process:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- your email address;
- event details: date, place, type of event, hours, number of guests, chosen wheel;
- the content of your message and anything else you choose to tell us.
Purpose: to reply to your request, prepare an offer and plan the event. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
2.2. Fulfilling the booking and accounting
When you book, we also process:
- the customer’s full name or company name and details;
- the event address and the contact person on site;
- invoice and payment details.
Purpose: to provide the service, issue invoices and keep accounts. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligation to keep accounts (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
2.3. The leaderboard
During the event we run a leaderboard showing the driver’s name or nickname and lap time.
- At the event, the leaderboard may be shown on screen. Drivers can choose a nickname instead of their name.
- We publish the best times on the Kaunas leaderboard on our website only with the driver’s consent, and for minors with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. We can show a first name with a surname initial, or a nickname.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the competition at the event (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); consent for public posting (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
2.4. Photos and videos at events
If we take photos or videos for our own promotion, we only publish identifiable people with their consent. We only publish images of children with a parent’s or guardian’s consent, or we make them unidentifiable. You can withdraw consent at any time, and we’ll remove the material.
Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
2.5. Website visits and cookies
- The website uses no cookies. If you try the reaction game on the home page, your best result is saved only in your browser and is never sent to us.
- We use no analytics or advertising cookies.
- The web server may log IP addresses and request times for technical purposes. This is done by the website hosting provider.
3. Who we share data with
We don’t sell your data. Only those who help us provide the service may receive it:
- the website hosting provider Netlify, Inc. (USA);
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you send your request through WhatsApp;
- the email provider we use to send and receive messages;
- the bank through which we receive payments;
- public authorities (e.g. the State Tax Inspectorate) where the law requires it.
If any provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure GDPR safeguards apply (e.g. the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).
4. How long we keep data
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Requests that didn’t become a booking | 12 months after the last message |
| Booking and correspondence data | 3 years after the event |
| Invoices and accounting records | As long as Lithuanian accounting law requires |
| Leaderboard | While the result is shown on the board, or until you ask us to remove it |
| Photos and videos with consent | Until consent is withdrawn |
After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
- ask us to restrict processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a common machine-readable format and pass it to another controller;
- withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn’t affect processing done before you withdrew it.
To use your rights, email [email protected]. We’ll reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity.
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, [email protected], vdai.lrv.lt). Please contact us first, and we’ll try to sort it out quickly.
6. Children
Requests and bookings are made by adults: parents, guardians or event organisers. We don’t specifically collect children’s data (such as a name on the leaderboard). Children can use a nickname on the leaderboard.
7. Data security
We keep data only as long as needed, and only SIMFAN has access to it. We use password-protected accounts and reliable service providers.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update.
